I’ve been in the textile industry for many years.
I teach drawing for fashion design at the Design School of the Politecnico of Milan, and textile and textile culture at NABA, in Milan.
I design collections for the textile factories.
I illustrate my projects and ideas.
The first for the viewer, the latter for myself.
In my work I try to create a relationship between space and material in a dynamic resolution, combining essence and expressiveness in the formulating of forms and in the creation of spaces.
It is a fight against the chaos that, in structures and spatial relationships, with the line as a tension point in a tale of my most intimate feelings, enables me to follow a flow of thoughts. And the line, intended as an independent figurative element, is the glue for the realization of an overall aesthetic project, in which effort is the search for the perfect correspondence of shapes to a theme.
